This Privacy Policy explains how 7StartUp ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use our website, request a quote, apply for a job or use our services. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as applicable.

Information we collect

  • Enquiries and quote requests: name, phone number, email, company, city and project details you share.
  • Job applications: name, phone, email, city, experience, resume and any notes you provide.
  • Employer requirements: company and contact details and job information.
  • Client portal accounts: name, email, phone, company, GSTIN and billing address; project requirements, messages and files you share; quote acceptances (name, time and IP address) and payment references or screenshots you submit. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
  • Payments: card, UPI and bank payments are processed by payment gateways and banks. We do not store your card numbers, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and cookies.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes
  • To process job applications and share suitable candidate profiles with hiring companies
  • To deliver, support and improve our services
  • To send service updates on call, SMS, email or WhatsApp where you have contacted us or agreed to it, including automatic project emails (quotes, invoices, payment confirmations, messages and delivery updates)
  • To keep our website secure and prevent misuse

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only when needed:

  • With hiring companies, when you apply for a job they have posted with us
  • With service providers who help us run our business (hosting, email, payment and messaging providers) under confidentiality obligations
  • When required by law, court order or a government authority

Data security and retention

Resumes and documents are accessible only to authorised staff. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, and then delete it.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for marketing messages, by emailing info@7startup.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
